Grandpa loved lamb and to make lasagna.
Well this new generation does not really like lamb very much. I do. But last year it was not eaten in a big way so no lamb this year.
A large ham.
Chicken Breasts.
Chicken legs.
Italian sausage.
Mashed potatoes and a variety of veggies.
Appetizers will include cheese, pickles and well I need to decide what else needs to be there.

Buying Canadian fruit and veggies is always a challenge in the winter.
Our buy Canadian campaign had a segment on the Greenhouses in the Windsor area. University of Windsor was featured.
I learned so little that it has made me interested in the endeavors in that part of Ontario

Due to the threat lurking of American tariffs, Canadians are coming together coast to coast to coast as Team Canada.
We will always have our own regional identities but to support each other as Canadians supporting Canadians during this time is endearing.
Whether the tariffs come to be we have lost our innocence that all America is our friend and ally.
We will protect our own and ally with the countries like Mexico, Great Britain, the European Union, Australia, India, New Zealand and so many other countries in the world that have our back and we have their back.
Viva Canada. Canada the true north strong and free.

Some Hot House Tomatoes.
Much of the fruit and vegetables right now are from the USA. When there are tariff retaliations, the price will go up to the point consumers will not buy them.
So the workers in the States where the produce comes from will lose their jobs.
Not a win-win situation.
We can only hope it is short lived.
No Canada does not want to be the 51st state. I would rather not eat strawberries in Winter. I can survive.
